In last years the fraction of Polish women who breastfeed increases. This trend, being the opposite one during many years, faces several obstacles, even despite it is embedded in the woman physiology. Among the most common reasons, which worry breastfeeding mothers is the believe that the amount of their milk is insufficient. Despite the clinical impossibility of breastfeeding is present at a very low fraction of women, this aspect is widely described in the renown medical literature, as well as widespread in the public. Contrary, rarely described in the literature and almost unknown among the Polish breastfeeding women is the overabundant milk supply, often connected with overactive letdown reflex of milk. In the renown medical literature only one paper was published. In this article these indispositions was described and analyzed from the breastfeeding mothers perception with overactive letdown reflex syndrome.
