Asthma is the most common chronic respiratory disease in the pregnant women. Inadequate treatment leading to exacerbations of the disease may result in increased risk of numerous maternalfetal complications. Proper education of patients, including ensuring the safety of the medicines used is the most important issue to minimize the danger for the mother and fetus.
