The symptoms of SARS CoV-2 infection are relatively easy to diagnose. The challenge for doctors is the non-specific effects of the infection, including an overactive immune system. One of them is Kawasaki syndrome – a disease that has been diagnosed extremely rarely so far. However, without the implementation of appropriate therapy, it devastates the circulatory system, which results in permanent disability or death.
